THE F.A.T.E. MATRIX

How can we know if I am being called into a ministry leadership role? Besides, assessing our spiritual gifts, and identifying our call, one helpful tool that we use at LWFC is what we call the F.A.T.E. paradigm. This paradigm helps us to determine if the timing is right.

Faithfulness    Am I faithful with my talents, gifts and resources? Am I ready to serve here?

Available         Do I have time to serve people the way Jesus does? Is this a priority?

Trainable         Am I ready to learn how God can use me? Or, how to grow in gifts and calling?

Example          Can I set an example for the people I am called to serve? Can others follow me?

This tool can be useful in determining God’s calling in many areas of your life. It is also a primary tool we use to asses if someone is ready to begin serving or should continue serving in ministry.
