CHILDREN'S MINISTRY TEAM LEADER DESCRIPTION

The Children’s ministry (CM) primary goal is to provide a safe, fun and caring ministry where the Gospel truth of the Bible can be learned and the love of God is demonstrated.

·      A CM leader/director recruits, organizes, trains and leads his/her worship team.

Accountability

• ·      CM Leader is directly accountable to the Senior Pastor and ultimately to ICFG.

Qualification

• ·      Leader/Director is clearly called to serve on the worship team according to the F.A.T.E (Faithful, Available, Trainable & Example) matrix.
• ·      Leader/Director is clearly in unity of the vision of LWFC.
• ·      Leader/Director is able to use leadership skills to organize, train and lead CM members into a harmonious team.

Requirements

• ·      Leader/Director agrees to the Public Ministry Commitment of LWFC.
• ·      Leader/ Director is in regular e-mail contact with LWFC and pastor.
• ·      Leader/ Director sets CM member planning and training meetings.
• ·      Leader/Director establishes and executes an effective communication plan for CM team.
